Bridge Deck to be Poured on Graff Bridge in Armstrong County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing night closures on Route 66 South and South Water Street for the Graff and Infantry Bridge preservation projects to allow crews to pour the bridge deck.

June 8 through 26, there will be two closures. The Route 66 South Ramp A: Route 422 West to Route 66 towards Ford City and South Water Street from the Indiana/Butler exit to the Infantry Bridge will be closed from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The work and closures are weather dependent. 

To detour from South Water Street, drivers will travel South Water Street to Hill Street to 17th Street to Route 128 to Route 66. For the Ramp A detour, drivers will travel Route 422 West to Ramp A to South Water Street to Hill Street to 17th Street to Route 128 to Route 66.

Contractor, Swank Construction Company of New Kensington, PA will be completing this $45.6 million project anticipated to be complete at the end of October 2027.
