Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced upcoming roadway maintenance with a closure on Route 954 (South 6th Street) between the intersections of School Street and Carter Avenue in Indiana Borough.
To detour, motorists will travel Carter Avenue and Wayne Avenue to access Route 954 (South 6th Street). Work is weather permitting.
Contractor, Quaker Sales Corporation of Johnstown, PA, will be completing this project which will also include the addition of Americans with Disabilities (ADA) ramp replacements and additional work on Route 119, as part of a $3.1 million contract estimated to be completed by the end of October 2025.
