Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is alerting motorists to a patching project with lane restrictions on Route 28 northbound and southbound from Butler County to the Allegheny County line.
October 22 through 23, patching will begin on Route 28 between Exit 16: Freeport/Millerstown and Exit 17: Route 356 Butler/Freeport/Sarver. Work will be performed during daylight hours. The roadway will be under a single-lane restriction.
Derry Construction Co., Inc., of Latrobe is completing this site as part of an $8.1 million contract which also includes multiple paving locations and pipe replacements throughout Armstrong and Butler counties. The contract is anticipated to be complete in early November.
