Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing gas line relocation on Franklin Road in Cranberry Township, Butler County.
Flagging with single-lane closures will occur December 13, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as the gas line is relocated along Franklin Road between the Route 228 and Hillmont Drive intersections.
This is a safety improvement project that includes shoulder widening, installation of edge-line rumble strips, and sight distance improvements along Franklin Road. This is a four-year project which has a current completion date in early November 2027.
Contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. of State College, PA will be completing this four-year $19.1 million project.
