The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today vehicle restrictions will be posted on two roads in Erie County starting June 22, 2026.
The following roads will be restricted to a weight limit of 10 tons:
- Tannery Road (Route 3018) from the Girard Borough line to Route 832 in Girard and Fairview townships.
- French Creek Road (Route 2001) from Route 6 to Flatts Road (Route 2003) in LeBoeuf Township.
The restrictions are required based on an inspection of the road conditions and a pavement analysis.
Vehicles exceeding the posted 10-ton weight limit are required to use alternate routes.
