The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has lifted the temporary speed limit restrictions on some interstates in the northwest region except in Erie County.
Due to continuing winter weather conditions, speed limits remain temporarily reduced to 45 mph on the following roadways:
- Interstate 79 from Exit 166 (Route 6N, Albion/Edinboro) to the end point.
- Interstate 86 from the I-90 interchange to the New York state line.
- Interstate 90 from the Ohio state line to the New York state line.
PennDOT is still treating roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
