Temporary Traffic Signal Installed on Scandia Road in Warren County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advising drivers to be alert for temporary traffic signals installed today on Scandia Road (Route 1013) in Elk Township, Warren County.

The temporary signals are needed in connection with a lane restriction surrounding damage to the road between Atkins Drive and Webbs Ferry Road. They were installed on June 16, 2026, and will remain until Scandia Road is repaired.

Plans to support and repair the road are included in the District 1 Protect Slide Repairs, which is expected to start construction in fall 2026 and take about a month to complete.

Information on the project can be viewed online at www.pa.gov/DOTDistrict1 by clicking on the View District 1 Projects button.
