Preliminary Work for the Route 62/322 Project in Venango County to Start Tomorrow

Short-Term Traffic Restrictions Expected to Begin April 13

Preliminary work will start tomorrow on the Route 62/322 Improvement Project in the City of Franklin, Venango County. These activities include setting up signs and staging equipment and materials.

The construction schedule for the project has been updated.

Starting April 13, drivers should anticipate temporary lane restrictions with flaggers controlling traffic near the intersection of 15th Street and Liberty Street as tree trimming work requires. There will be a lane shift and limited on-street parking at the intersection of Garnett Wood Way and Liberty Street as drainage work starts.

PennDOT urges drivers to slow down when driving in work zones, be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
