Drivers should be alert for roadwork on Main Street (Route 4032) in Lawrence Park, Erie County next week.
The milling and paving operation is expected to start at Route 955 on May 20, 2026, weather permitting, and move westbound to Water Street. Once that is complete, the work crew will move eastbound back to Route 955 with an expected completion on May 22, 2026.
Work will be completed by PennDOT employees from the Erie County maintenance facility.
Parking will be prohibited on Main Street from May 20 to 22, 2026.
Drivers should anticipate lane restrictions with traffic controlled by flaggers during active work hours.
PennDOT urges drivers to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
