The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has lifted the speed limit reduction on Interstate 79 in Crawford and Erie counties.
The 55 mph restriction remains in place on Interstate 80 eastbound from Exit 42 (Route 38, Emlenton) in Venango County to 147 (Route 144, Snow Shoe) in Centre County.
PennDOT is still treating roadways throughout the region and will continue until roads are clear. Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling near a plow truck and remain at least six car lengthens behind an active plow operation.
