The following state roads in PennDOT’s northwest region have been closed to through traffic due to flooding.
The roads will remain closed until water rescinds and any needed repairs can be made. Motorists can check www.511PA.com for the latest updates on flood-related closures and restrictions.
PennDOT urges motorists to be alert to water on roadways, obey warning signs and traffic control devices, and never drive through flooding or standing water on roads. Shallow, swiftly flowing water can wash a car from a roadway. Also, the roadbed may not be intact under the water.
Drivers should be alert of the following roadway conditions:
Crawford County
- Fish Flats Road/Britton Run Road/Sparta Street (Route 1041) – Closed from the intersection with Garland Street in Centerville Borough to the intersection with White Road in Rome Township.
- Mystic Park Road (Route 1011) – Closed from the intersection with Stroup Road in Steuben Township to the intersection with Rosenburg Road in Troy Township.
Erie County
- Lovell Road/Elgin Road/Pleasant Street (Route 2018) – Closed from the intersection with Route 89 in Concord Township to the intersection with Main Street (Route 2019) in Elgin Borough.
- French Creek Road (Route 2001) – Closed from the intersection with Flatt Road to the intersection with Route 6 in LeBoeuf Township.
Forest County
- Little Hickory Road/Nebraska Road/Guitonville Road (Route 3004) – Closed from the intersection with Sage Road (Route 3005) to the intersection with German Hill Road in Green Township.
