PA Turnpike Bridge Repair to Close Northbound Old Lincoln Highway Weeknights in Bensalem Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will perform weeknight bridge repair on northbound Old Lincoln Highway in Bensalem Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

During the closure, drivers traveling westbound Route 132 (Street Road) will be directed to use Richlieu Road and Rockhill Drive. Drivers using northbound Old Lincoln Highway will be directed to use Route 132 (Street Road), Rockhill Drive, and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway).

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour routes because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike will complete this work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
