Pipe Replacement Project Next Week on Herrickville Road in Bradford County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portions of Herrickville Road (Route 1017) will be closed beginning next week in Wyalusing and Herrick townships, Bradford County, for a pipe replacement project.

On Monday, July 15, 2024, Herrickville Road will be closed between the intersections with Route 706 and Rummerfield Creek Road (Route 1021), while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replace deteriorating pipes.

A detour using Route 409, Route 6 and Rummerfield Creek Road in Wyalusing, Standing Stone, and Herrick townships will be in place while the work is being performed. 

Work is expected to be completed on Friday, July 19, 2024, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel in the area.
