Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a tree trimming project will begin tomorrow on Interstate 80 in Hemlock, Scott, South Centre, and Mifflin townships, Columbia County.
On Friday, March 27, the contractor, Dincher and Dincher Tree Surgeons, will begin trimming and removing trees and brush within the PennDOT right-of-way for better sign visibility at 12 locations. Drivers can expect work to take place off the roadway tomorrow and next week with no impacts to traffic.
Work will take place Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM and is anticipated to be completed in two weeks, weather permitting.
Drivers should be alert, slow down, and drive with caution through the work zone.
