Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a maintenance project is planned this week on River Drive (Route 2006) in Mahoning and Cooper townships, Montour County.
On Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8, River Road will be closed between Clinic Road and Mount Zion Drive (Route 2013), while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew performs base repairs and patching. A detour using Clinic Road, Route 11, Ridge Drive, and Mount Zion Drive will be in place between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, weather permitting. Emergency vehicles and school buses will have access to the closed area of the roadway.
Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution.
