Bridge Repair Project Begins Next Week on West Hill Road in Covington Township, Tioga County

Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised a bridge repair project will begin next week on West Hill Road (Route 2022) between Packard Road and Hilfiger Road in Covington Township, Tioga County.

Beginning Monday, March 30, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be working on the bridge between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The bridge will be closed to traffic during work hours only.

A detour will be in place using Hilfiger Road. Work on this bridge repair project is expected to be complete on April 3, weather pending.

Drivers should be alert, slow down, obey signs and flaggers, and expect minor delays.
