Railroad Crossing Project to Begin on Market Street in Selinsgrove Borough, Snyder County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Market Street (Route 2017) will be closed in Selinsgrove Borough, Snyder County, due to a railroad crossing project. 

Starting Monday, July 7, 2025, Market Street will be closed between Snyder Street and Mill Street, while the contractor, Lycoming Supply installs a heavy duty concrete tub / highway crossing across the road.

A detour using Routes 11/15 and Market Street will be in place for the duration of the project. The project is anticipated to be completed on Thursday, July 17, 2025, weather permitting.

This work is a cooperative effort between the SEDA COG Joint Rail Authority, North Shore Railroad and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
