Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing scheduled single-lane restrictions in both directions of Interstate 70 between Exit 39 (Speers) and Exit 40 (Route 88 Charleroi/Allenport) in Speers Borough, Washington County.
Restrictions will be in place Monday, April 20 from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM to allow District 12 staff to inspect the bridge that carries Route 2027 (Maple Drive) over Interstate 70.
All work is dependent on weather and operational conditions.
Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
