Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of the following state roadways are closed due to flooding:
Greene County
- Route 1019 (Green Valley Road) in Cumberland Township
- Between Route 21 and Harts Road
Washington County
- Route 2019 (Wherry/Vanceville/Almond Road) in Ellsworth Borough and Somerset Township
- Between 917 (Main Street) and Wherry Road
- Route 2020 (Plumsock/Ten Mile/Hackney Station Road) in Amwell and West Bethlehem Township
- Between Hufford Run Road and Little Creek Road
- Route 1010 (Bebout/Georgetown/Valley Brook/Cecil Henderson Road) in Cecil and Peters Township
- Between Simpson Street and Buckeye Street
Westmoreland County
- Route 381 in Ligonier Township
- Between Club Stable Road and Route 30
- Route 982 in Derry Township
- Between Mission Road and Route 30
- Route 2045 (Two Mile Road) in Ligonier Township
- Between Ross Road and Route 30
- Route 2049 (Sleepy Hollow/Causeway Road) in Derry Township
- Between Route 30 and West Route 30
- Route 3089 (Ruffsdale Road) in East Huntington Township and New Stanton Borough
- Between Brickyard Hill Road and Bridge Street/Hunker Waltz Mill Road
- Route 2012 (Armburst Road) in Hempfield Township
- Between Fairground Road and Route 819
As issues are addressed, roadways will be reopened as soon as they are safe.
Drivers are reminded to:
- Never drive through flooded roadways.
- Obey all posted signs, barricades, and traffic controls.
- Allow extra time for travel.
- Turn on headlights when using wipers.
