Route 3098 Glass Run Road Slide Repair Begins Monday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA PennDOT is announcing slide repair work on Glass Run Road (Route 3098) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will begin Monday, June 5 weather permitting.

Slide repair work requiring the closure of a portion of Glass Run Road between Cathell Road and Route 885 will begin at 7 a.m. Monday morning. The road will remain closed to through traffic until mid-June. Traffic will be detoured.

West of the Slide

  • From Glass Run Road, take Joseph Street

  • Joseph Street becomes Agnew Road

  • Turn right onto Becks Run Road

  • Turn right onto Route 837 (East Carson Street)

  • Bear right toward South 885 toward Glass Run Road/Mifflin Road

  • Bear left toward Glass Run Road

  • Follow ramp to Glass Run Road

  • End detour

East of the Slide

  • From Glass Run Road, take Route 885 northbound

  • Bear right toward North 837 toward Carson Street

  • From Route 837 (East Carson Street), turn left onto Becks Run Road

  • Turn left onto East Agnew Road

  • From Agnew Road, bear right onto Joseph Street

  • Follow Joseph Street back to Glass Run Road

  • End detour

PennDOT crews will conduct the slide repair work.
