Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing traffic signal upgrade work on Evergreen Avenue (Route 4009) in Shaler Township and Millvale Borough, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, September 9 weather permitting.
There will be short-term restrictions each weekday, as needed, through late November according to the following schedule:
- Shoulder closures will occur from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Short-term single-lane restrictions will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The Evergreen Avenue (Route 4009) intersection with Babcock Boulevard and Walters Avenue will be impacted throughout the duration of the project for traffic signal and ADA curb ramp work.
Please use caution if traveling on this roadway. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
