Minor Delays Expected on U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) in East Providence Township, Bedford County, Beginning April 6

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing drivers of minor delays on U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) in East Providence Township, Bedford County, from Monday, April 6, to Friday, May 22, 2026.

Drivers can expect closure of the westbound lane and short delays of three (3) to five (5) minutes on U.S. 30 between the Post House Road intersection and the Pennsylvania Turnpike off ramp in Breezewood for concrete patching operations.

As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Drivers should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage and flaggers.

Cottle's Asphalt Maintenance, Inc., Everett, Pa., is the lead contractor for the 23-mile, $20,939,620.51 project which includes concrete patching operations.
