    Sign Installation Scheduled at Night Next Week on U.S. 1 in Bensalem Township

    King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that overhead sign installation is planned at night next week on U.S. 1 in Bensalem Township, under a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.

    Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

    Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
