King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge repair will continue this week on southbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Wednesday, October 11, and Friday, October 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right two lanes will close on southbound I-95 approaching the Academy Road Interchange (Exit 32) for emergency bridge repair.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the work area because significant backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
