Lane Restrictions on Route 11 in Pittston and West Pittston, Luzerne County

Dunmore, PA – There will be lane restrictions on Route 11 in Luzerne County for geotechnical investigations on Main Street and Kennedy Boulevard in Pittston and West Pittston. Work will operate on the following schedule:

  • ​Monday, August 12 – Friday, September 20 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM beginning at Kennedy Boulevard, north of Williams Street.
  • Sunday, August 19 – Thursday, September 27 from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM between North Main Street Between Lambert Street and Fort Jenkins Bridge and Route 11 southbound between Susquehanna Avenue and Main Street.

When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
