Pipe Replacement Project to Begin Next Week on Hoffer Road in Washington Township, Snyder County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a daylight road closure will begin next week on Route 2004 (Hoffer Road) in Washington Township, Snyder County, for a pipe replacement project.

On Monday, June 3, 2024 through Friday, June 14, 2024, Hoffer Road will be closed between Route 2001 (Hoffer Road) and Route 2006 (Martin Brothers Road / Steffen Valley Road), while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces a deteriorating pipe.

A detour using Route 2001 (Chapman Hollow Road) and Steffen Valley Road will be in place Monday through Friday, while work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel.
