    8:00 AM UPDATE: Route 147 is open in Jackson Township, Northumberland County.

    Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that Route 147 is closed in both directions between Herndon Bypass Road (Route 3006) and Boyles Run Road (Route 4022) in Jackson Township, Northumberland County, due to a crash with downed utilities.

    A detour using Herndon Bypass Road, Route 225, Dornsife Mountain Road (Route 4019), and Boyles Run Road is in place.

    Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
