Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised of a bridge cleaning project next week on Interstate 80 eastbound and westbound between Exit 241 (Route 11/Berwick/Lime Ridge) and Exit 242 (Route 339/Mifflinville/Mainville) in South Centre and Mifflin townships, Columbia County.
On Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) crew will be cleaning bridge bearings on the bridges carrying Interstate 80 over the Susquehanna River. Drivers can expect alternating lane restrictions between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.
Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution through the work zone.
