Pipe Replacement Project Begins Next Week on Globe Mills Road in Snyder County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised daily road closures will begin next week on Globe Mills Road (Route 1007) in Middlecreek Township, Snyder County, for multiple pipe replacements.

Starting on Monday, September 29, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Globe Mills Road will be closed daily between Route 522 and New Berlin Highway (Route 1005), while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces deteriorated pipes. Work includes excavation, installation of the pipe, and paving.

A detour using Route 522, Route 104, New Berlin Highway, and Spruce Hollow Road (Route 1006), will be in place while work is being performed. The road will be open to traffic during overnight hours.
