Route 4028 Tippecanoe Road Slide Repair Scheduled in Fayette County

Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing the scheduled closure of a portion of Route 4028 (Tippecanoe Road) between Laureldale Road and Crabapple Road in Jefferson Township, Fayette County beginning Thursday, August 20.

A posted detour will be in place until early October utilizing Route 4011 (Laureldale Road), Route 4034 (Perry Road), Route 51, and Route 4028 (Tippecanoe Road).

During this closure, crews from Allison Park Contracting will perform slide repair work.

All work depends on weather and operational conditions. 

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Allison Park Contracting will conduct slide repairs at this location as part of a larger slide-repair project in Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland counties. The scope of work includes repairing slides, drainage and roadway improvements, an infrastructure investment of $7.5 million.
