Route 1020 Cedar Ridge Road Base Repair Work Starts Wednesday in West Deer

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing base repair operations on Cedar Ridge Road (Route 1020) in West Deer Township, Allegheny County, will begin Wednesday, May 24 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Cedar Ridge Road between Cedar Ridge Road Extension and Route 910 through mid-June.

Crews from Lindy Paving will conduct base repairs, patching, milling and paving, pavement marking installation, and other miscellaneous construction activities.

Additional roadways are part of the $3.24 million contract. Information will be provided in advance of work beginning.

Motorists are advised to use caution, slow down and expect changing traffic patterns.  Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
