Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing bridge inspection activities on Route 28 in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Thursday and Friday, May 7-8 weather permitting.
There will be shoulder restrictions in various locations along Route 28 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day according to the following schedule:
Thursday, May 7
- Northbound Route 28 left-hand off-ramp to I-279 North/East Ohio Street
Friday, May 8
- Southbound Route 28 ramp to southbound I-579 Veterans Bridge/eastbound I-376 Monroeville
Crews from Michael Baker International will conduct the inspection work. Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
