A $1.9 million project to improve Lamor Road (Route 3020) in the city of Hermitage, Mercer County is scheduled to start June 9, 2025.
The project will include improvement to 0.58 miles of roadway from in the intersection with Route 18 to the intersection with North Keel Ridge Road (Route 3011).
The project includes milling and paving, traffic signal updates, roadway widening to add 4-foot shoulders, and curve improvements west of the Carol S. Gurrera Village driveway. Work will also include upgrades to drainage, curbs, and sidewalks, along with tree trimming, and updates to signs and roadway paint.
Construction is expected to begin June 9, 2025, weather permitting, and is expected to be completed by November 2025.
The project will require a detour for westbound traffic, which will be posted using North Keel Ridge Road, Route 62, and Route 18. It is expected to be in place for four months.
The contractor is Kirilia Contractors, Inc. of Brookfield, Ohio. The contract cost is $1,932,627, which is to be paid with 100 percent state funds.
