Lane Restrictions and Short Delays Continue May 3 through May 7 on Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Breezewood, Bedford County, for Concrete Patching

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing drivers that lane closures and short delays will continue on Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Breezewood, Bedford County, next week.  

From 8:00 PM Sunday, May 3, through 4:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2026, a lane closure will be implemented in the westbound lane of Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Post House Road and the exit ramp for Interstate 76 (I-76) PA Turnpike.   

Drivers can expect short delays of three (3) to five (5) minutes from lane restrictions under standard daylight flagging operations.    

As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Motorists should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage.  

Cottle's Asphalt Maintenance, Inc., Everett, Pa., is the lead contractor for the $24,164,967 project, which includes pavement preservation, intersection widening and improvements, auxiliary lane addition, bridge preservation, signing upgrades, and guide rail upgrades from Breezewood to the Fulton County Line.
