The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing drivers of the potential for short delays on Route 4019 (Reynoldsdale Road) in East St. Clair and Bedford townships for a bridge rehabilitation project starting next week.

The project begins Monday, June 15, 2026, with the placement of signs and a traffic signal at the bridge. Beginning Monday, June 22, 2026, single-lane restrictions will be in effect with the activation of the traffic signal at the bridge over Oppenheimer Run.

From Monday, June 22, to October 31, 2026, Ott Road will be closed at the bridge and traffic will be guided under a 0.4-mile detour using Route 4009 (William Penn Road) back to Ott Road.

George S. Hann & Sons, Inc., Littleton, Pa., is the lead contractor for the $817,457.48 bridge rehabilitation project, scheduled for completion in September 2027.
