Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge inspection is scheduled on Tuesday, June 16, for the Slackwater Road (Route 3032) bridge over the Conestoga River in Manor and Conestoga townships, Lancaster County. A right lane and shoulder restriction will be in place during daylight hours.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed Tuesday, June 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Traffic will be restricted in one direction at a time. Work will begin in the southbound direction and then move to the northbound direction.
Inspectors plan to inspect the bridge using an inspection crane from the roadway.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspection crews.
