Update: Detour Lifted on Route 34 (Carlisle Road) Culvert Replacement Project in Menallen Township, Adams County

Harrisburg, PA The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today reopened Route 34 (Carlisle Road) spanning an unnamed tributary to Opossum Creek between Center Mills Road (Route 4003) and Idaville Springs Road (Route 1020) in Menallen Township, Adams County. The road had been closed for a box culvert replacement since March 23.

This project consists of the replacement of a box culvert, minor approach work, guide rail updates, and other miscellaneous construction.

JVI Group, Inc., of York Springs, PA is the contractor on this $793,381 project.
