Inspections Scheduled for Peiffer Hill Road Bridges over Route 222 in East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County

Expect lane restrictions, traffic delays on northbound and southbound Route 222.

Harrisburg, PA The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that bridge inspections are scheduled for the Peiffer Hill Road structures over Route 222 in East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County.

Weather permitting this work will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the following days:

  • Wednesday, June 17 – There will be a northbound right lane restriction on Route 222 from 9:00 AM to noon. There will be a northbound left lane restriction from noon to 3:00 PM.
  • Thursday, June 18 – There will be a southbound right lane restriction on Route 222 from 9:00 AM to noon. There will be a southbound left lane restriction from noon to 3:00 PM.

Inspectors plan to inspect the bridge using an inspection crane from the roadway.
