Laudermilch Road Bridge in Dauphin County is Open to Traffic

Detour lifted; Miscellaneous work to be completed under flagging

Harrisburg, PA The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Laudermilch Road (Route 2012) bridge spanning Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks between East Derry Road and Hershey Park Drive in Derry Township, Dauphin County, is open to traffic.

The bridge was closed in the fall of 2023 for replacement. A detour associated with the closure has been lifted.

There may be temporary single lane closures with flaggers over the next several weeks while the contractor completes miscellaneous construction items.

Deblin, Inc., of Mechanicsburg is the contractor on this $10,673,551 project.
