Road closed, traffic detoured for one month starting June 1.
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a maintenance crew in Lebanon County is preparing to replace a large concrete drainage pipe on Grace Avenue (Route 1003) south of Jonestown Borough in Swatara Township.
Weather permitting, prep work will be performed Tuesday through Friday, May 26-29, from approximately 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Initially, there will be single lane and shoulder restrictions under flagging during work hours.
Starting Monday, June 1, the road will be closed for one month. A detour will be in place using Horst Drive, Route 72 (Ebenezer Road), and Thompson Avenue (Route 4005).
