King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that West Brandywine Township will be performing utility improvements on East Reeceville Road in West Brandywine and East Brandywine townships, Chester County, beginning on Monday, June 29.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, June 29, through Friday, September 25, East Reeceville Road will be closed and detoured 24/7 between Swinehart Road and Bollinger Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 82 (Manor Road), Route 322 (Horseshoe Pike), and Bollinger Road.
Local access will be maintained at all times. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
West Brandywine Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
