King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that utility improvement will occur on Bristol Road in New Britain and Chalfont boroughs, Bucks County, beginning Monday, March 23.
Weather permitting, drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, March 23, through Friday, March 27, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, Bristol Road will be closed and detoured weeknights between Unami Trail and Hibiscus Drive. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Upper State Road, Route 152 (Limekiln Pike/Butler Avenue), and Business U.S. 202 (Butler Avenue).
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays may occur.
Watts Services will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
