King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacement next week will close Art School Road in West Pikeland Township and Ellis Woods Road in East Coventry and East Vincent townships, Chester County.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, May 4, through Thursday, May 7, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Art School Road will be closed and detoured between Yellow Springs Road and Miller Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 401 (Conestoga Road) and Route 113 (Kimberton Road).
- Wednesday, May 6, through Monday, May 11, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Ellis Woods Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Bethel Church Road and Route 23 (Ridge Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 23 (Ridge Road) and Bethel Church Road.
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
