King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacement will close Garnet Mine Road in Bethel and Upper Chichester townships, Delaware County, beginning on Monday, May 11.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15, Garnet Mind Road will be closed and detoured 24 hours a day between Larkin Road and Route 261 (Foulk Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Larkin Road, Bethel Road, and Route 261 (Foulk Road).
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
