King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Pennsylvania American Water will perform utility construction on First Avenue in South Coatesville Borough, Chester County, beginning on Wednesday, May 27.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Wednesday, May 27, through Wednesday, September 30, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging will be in place weekdays on First Avenue between Modena Road and Newlinville Road.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Pennsylvania American Water will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
