PennDOT to Repair Potholes Next Week on More Than 30 State Highways in the Philadelphia Region

Motorists are encouraged to report potholes on www.customercare.penndot.pa.gov or 1-800-FIX-ROAD

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PennDOT maintenance crews will be working to repair deteriorated pavement on more than 30 state highways next week in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

Since January 1, PennDOT District 6 has received more than 7,514 customer concerns regarding potholes and has used more than 1,954 tons of asphalt across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Drivers are advised that periodic daytime lane closures and possible slowdowns will occur next week at the following locations:

Bucks County

  • Route 232 (Second Street Pike/Windy Bush Road), Upper Southampton, Northampton, Wrightstown, Upper Makefield, and Solebury townships
  • Bridgetown Pike, Northampton Township
  • County Line Road, West Rockhill Township
  • Mechanicsville Road, Bensalem and Solebury townships
  • Stump Road, Plumstead Township

Chester County

  • U.S. 30 (Coatesville-Downingtown Bypass), Valley, Caln, and Sadsbury townships
  • Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway), Caln Township
  • U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike), Westtown, Birmingham, and Thornbury townships
  • U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike), West Brandywine and East Brandywine townships
  • Route 100 Spur, West Whiteland and West Goshen townships
  • Route 272 (Christine Road), West Nottingham Township
  • Route 472 (Lancaster Pike), Lower Oxford Township
  • Art School Road, West Pikeland Township
  • Birchrun Road, West Vincent Township
  • Hollow Road, West Vincent Township
  • Pikeland Road/Clover Mill Road, Charleston and East Pikeland townships

Delaware County
