PennDOT Announces Public Meeting for Route 41 over White Clay Creek Bridge Replacement Project in Chester County

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to attend a virtual public meeting to learn about the proposed project to replace the Route 41 Bridge over White Clay Creek in Avondale Borough, Chester County.

Pre-registration is not required, and attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the meeting.

The bridge is located on Pennsylvania Avenue (Route 41) between the intersections with Baltimore Pike and State Street/First Street.

The Route 41 over White Clay Creek project will include the replacement of the Route 41 bridge over White Clay Creek. The existing bridge will be replaced on the same alignment with a single span structure to aid in the hydraulic opening below the bridge for White Clay Creek. The proposed structure will provide at least the same vehicle and pedestrian accommodations as the existing structure.
