King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Newtown Street Road and Saint Davids Road will be closed and detoured in Newtown Township, Delaware County, for the PGA Championship, beginning on Monday, May 11.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, May 11, through Sunday, May 17, from 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Newtown Street Road will be closed and detoured between Wyola Drive and Saint Davids Road.
- Monday, May 11, through Sunday, May 17, from 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Saint Davids Road will be closed and detoured between Route 252 (Newtown Street Road/Darby Paoli Road) and Paper Mill Road.
During the closure, passenger vehicles and trucks will be directed to follow the posted detour routes.
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays will occur.
