Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge cleaning operations are scheduled next week on I-76, I-95, and I-676 in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Sunday, April 12, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a moving lane closure will be in place Sundays through Fridays on westbound I-76 between John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Spring Garden Street in Philadelphia.
- Sunday, April 12, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a moving lane closure will be in place Sundays through Fridays on I-95 in both directions between Engle Street and Wanamaker Avenue in Chester, Ridley, and Tinicum townships, the City of Chester, and Ridley Park, Eddystone, and Upland boroughs, Delaware County.
- Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 24, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, a lane shift will be in place weekdays on eastbound I-676 (Vine Street Expressway) between I-76 and 22nd Street in Philadelphia.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
