King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair operations will begin on Monday, April 13, on Gilbertsville Road in Douglass and Upper Pottsgrove townships, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, April 13, through Wednesday, April 22, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Gilbertsville Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Farmington Avenue and Route 73 (Philadelphia Avenue). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Farmington Avenue/Maugers Mill Road, Route 663 (Charlotte Street), and Route 73 (Philadelphia Avenue).
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
